Introduction
 
  Girls like diamond, because diamond is rare and expensive. A diamond means covenants to husband and wife.  It also represents their true love.  Diamond plays an important role in our life.  Now a day, diamond can be made in a lab.  How do scientists make it? What are the steps to make a diamond?  Would it be difficult to make one?  What do people think about having a synthetic diamond?  Do they like it or not?  Would it be possible to buy a synthetic diamond?  How would synthetic diamond change our life now and then? Is it true that a dead man can be made to become beautiful diamonds? 

What is a diamond?

As we know that diamond is formed by carbon. It is the hardest known natural material. Diamonds has a hardness of 10 on Mohs scale of mineral hardness. Its’ basic characteristic is that diamond has well-regulated geometric shape. Because of this characteristic, industrial use diamonds as the ideal material for cutting and grinding tool.
   Diamonds have different colors because inside the crystal content impurities or structural defects that caused coloration, but pure or nearly pure diamonds are transparent and colorless. 
     Ideal diamond is a non conductivity.  Its’ another advantage is its’ thermo stability is really high. Diamonds have high heat conduction. Heat conduction is a way to evaluate a material thermolysis. If the heat conduction rate is high that means its’ thermolysis is better.

•The origin of synthetic diamonds
It is difficult to get natural diamonds. The need for diamonds increased. As long as the improvement of science and technology, scientists get an idea “ Why don’t we make diamonds by ourselves? .” Not until 1953, the synthetic diamond had been made successfully.

How to make a synthetic diamond?

There are two main methods to produce synthetic diamonds.   The original method is High Pressure High Temperature and is still the most widely used method because it cost lower than the other methods. 
•High pressure, High temperature
To make a synthetic diamond requires high pressure and high temperature. This method is used to supply the pressure and temperature necessary to produce synthetic diamonds.  The purpose of high temperature is to supply the necessary heat for the carbon in the lattice to get out of the bind.   At the same time, use high pressure can make the dispersive carbons to get together closer and closer.   The shorter distance between carbon and carbon, the harder it become.

Relationship between the diamond and our life

There are several companies produce gems made through High Pressure High Temperature technology. It is hard to tell which one is synthetic diamond and which one is natural diamond. But the price of the synthetic diamond is one to ten of the natural one. To protect customers, the world diamond center claimed that in the future the synthetic diamond will be tagged laboratory- grown.
Now there is an American company called LifeGem use cremains to make synthetic diamond.   This company offers a new way for people to remember their loved one. 

Conclusion

This is only the basic of synthetic diamonds.   By knowing how to make a synthetic diamond, we learn more about the structure of a diamond, and how our technology improved.
In our daily life, diamond is just a beautiful stone.   It is human that gave diamond the meaning.   Diamonds may represent a person you loved, or a convent.  It all depends on how you think of it.
It is not a easy task to make a beautiful diamond, so do learning new things.   If we want to become as shine as a diamond, we will have to put a lot of effort on learning.
